The Seattle Institute for Cardiac Research

The Seattle Institute for Cardiac Research (SICR) was founded in May 2000 by Dr. Gust H. Bardy. Dr. Bardy has 25+ years experience as a researcher, cardiologist, and eletrophysiologist specializing in cardiac arrhythmias.

The focus of SICR is on medical device and pharmacological research studies. The staff includes Dr. Jeanne Poole, a consulting electrophysiologist, and research certified nurses and engineers with extensive experience in clinical trials design and management, data management, biomedical research, and computer/internet programming.

SICR is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art cardiac research services and conducts a variety of research trials on a full or partial service basis sponsored by the National Institutes of Health/National Heart Lung Blood Institute and Industry.
